Administrative Requirement (A/R) 5-500: EMT Use of Patient Restraints

This Administrative Requirement, originally issued last year, was temporarily rescinded, in order to do more extensive review with other public safety disciplines, including law enforcement. It has now been updated, is issued again and is in effect. Ambulance services shall implement as they complete EMT training and service policies in accordance with the A/R, no later than October 1, 2013.
